The Cable Systems database group contains comprehensive data for 7600 cable franchises in the U.S. market. With over 2000 unique managing offices, the databases includes management, addresses, email, phone/fax and complete operational details. Please see data fields list for complete details. This database can be merged with the comzip database to provide the most complete tool available for analysis of the cable industry. 

Cablecomzip Database
The 2nd database cablecomzip is a database of over 55,000 communities and five digit zip codes and includes an extensive set of demographics for analysis and mapping of cable footprints.

  • The cablecomzip database includes the following key features
  • Total subscribers by zip code, county, state, or market area.
  • Houseyholds by zip code, county, state or market area.
  • Population by zip code, county, state, market area and includes extensive demographics such as ethnic background, income, HH value, and many others.
  • A data field identifying the system as analog, digital or broadband.
  • A data field identifying the head-end location. 
  • Miles of cable plant.
  • DTVMA market name and rank.
  • Identifies the zip code as business or consumer zip.
  • Includes AT&T's UVerse and Verizon's FiOS alternative cable service. 

MSO Database
The 3rd database in the cable group is the MSO (Multi-System Owner). This database includes contact data for the CEO, COO, and CTO. In addition the file provides total MSO data on subscribers, digital subscribers and the number of systems owned.
