The Telco/Cable System Database Group is comprised
      of (7) individual databases

The TelcoCable database includes all of the data available in Telephone2009 and all of the data from SoftMedia's Cable Group. Using our System Identification Number you can index/sort the database and create maps of Telco and Cable boundaries. You can view Telco/Cable data by area code, prefix, house-holds, cable franchise, digital service, Internet, Telco service providers or hundreds of combinations. This new version has a number of new data fields:
COMMALIAS. This datafield is the community alias name  As an example; Most of the Primary zip codes have the same name in large cities such as Los Angeles or New York. The community alias is the alias name given to small communities within the large city areas. (Example: Los  Angeles = Whittier) (Sample Map)

CONSUMERS,
you can now limit your queries for only those zip codes serving residential areas.
ACCESS LINES, number of Wired Access Lines by zip/operator/NPA-NXX or any other combination
of data fields.
BUS_POBOX, you can construct your query to eliminate AP0’s PO Boxes and zip codes assigned to specific
companies or buildings.
DUPLICATEZIP, query and sum data while ignoring duplicate zip codes.
ALTSYSTEM, Cable Operator serving a specific zip code.
BROADBAND, identifies each cable operator by zip code and community that provides broadband digital service
and those operators that only provide analog service.

The Telephone Section of the Telephone/Cable System Database Group is comprised
of (4) individual databases

1.    Telco2009 - Database - 5,804 Records      Product Code 201
The Telecom 2009 database is a detailed database of Telephone Companies and
includes complete contact data with management, telephone, addresses and emails.
Each record provides data on service type including those providing cable
television service.

2.    Lata2009- Database - 124,169 Records            Product Code 202
A LATA is a geographical area in which the local telephone company is allowed to
carry local and long distance toll calls. The LATA boundary is the point where your
call is handed off from your local carrier to your long-distance company. These areas
were defined at Divestiture, when Judge Greene broke up the AT&T monopoly in
1984. The companies LATA database goes far beyond data provided by others and
includes NPA (Area Code), NXX (Prefix), Zip Code, City, State, and LATA Number.
SoftMedia's LATA2009 database can be imported into most mapping software
programs so that you can create your own unique LATA Maps.

3.    Telephone/Cable2009- Database - 193,938 Records         Product Code 203
The Telephone/Cable2009 is the most complete set of data currently available for the Industry.
With over 193,000 records the Telco2009 database list 25 datafields for all
combinations of NPA/NXX/Zip Codes. Each 5 digit zip code covers all NXX codes for
Wireless, PCS and Wireline operators, Cable Operators, House-Holds, Population, and
Cable Subscribers.

4.    Telephone & Block Group Database – Records 318,370      Product Code 206.
If you are looking for data regarding income, occupation or education etc.., then the
smallest geographic unit for which you'll be able to get that data is the block group.
The Tract/Block group database is quite large and is best used by applying the data in
an overlay to your base map.

The Cable Section of the
Telephone/Cable System Database Group is comprised
of (4) individual databases

   1.  Cablesys2009- Database                           Included in Product Code 100
The cable system database covers 11,000 franchises in the U.S. With the consolidation
of operations, a specific office and management group manages more than one
franchise, therefore there are duplicate addresses, management etc., in this database.

   2.  Cable2009- Database                                 Included in Product Code 100
For the co
nvenience of our customers, SoftMedia provides a second database identical
to the cablesys2009 file with the duplicates removed. This database contains over 2700
listings and should be used for Mailing, Emailing, Faxing etc…

   3.  MSO2009- Database                                    Included in Product Code 100
The 3rd database in our cable group, mso2009, file is the MSO Database.(Multiple
System Operators) corporate owners database. This database covers the 307 corporate
owners.

   4.  CABLECOMZIP Database                           Product Code 101
The 4th database cablecomzip, is a database of over 42,500 communities and five digit
zip codes. When the FCC authorizes a new Franchise they are issued a “SYSTEM
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER”, systemid. Each community and zip code within that
franchise has the same systemid number, therefore, by indexing/sorting by the systemid
number you can view all of the communities and zip codes within a franchise.
The
systemid number is also present in the cable2009 database. By using a “Relational”
database software program, you can connect the databases allowing you to view the
cable2009 data and the comzip2009 data at the same time.
The comzip database is ideal
for loading into a mapping program. If your mapping software contains 5 digit zip code
boundaries you can create coverage map’s of each franchise area and overlay
demographics or other data that you need. (Sample Map)
